Mine is a Dirt Devil 5.0HP 16 Gallon Wet/Dry Plus.  I do not see a model # anywhere on it.   It is over 10 years old,  so probably not an available option.   If you are looking to integrate the vac onto the bee vac as I did,  you can probably find other vacuum models that allow for removing the motor unit to be used as a leaf blower, like mine.  Then you will need to rig together some type of mount/adapter.   I&#039;m sure others would be interested if you figure something out.  Let us know...</description>

  I know there is a common believe that corrugated hose kills bees, but my experience and rationale differs.     First of all,  the corrugated hose that I have purchased from Lowe&#039;s/Home Depot has actually been quite smooth on the inside.  My thoughts are the diameter of the hose is much more important.    I know some prefer to use the 1-1/4 smooth bore hose over the 2-1/2 corrugated hose, which in my opinion is not only more expensive and harder to work with,  but provides no benefit over the 2-1/2 hose.   The analogy I like to use is as follows:  Try running down two different corridors as fast as you can.   The first corridor is 2ft wide and the second is 4ft wide.  Which one will you be banging into the wall more often?

With that said,  the biggest issue with killing bees is too much suction and banging the bees into the vac, not the hose.   You should adjust the suction so it just barely can pull the bees off the comb.   This has worked extremely well for me.   I just did a cut-out the other day,  and I had less than 12 dead bees in the bottom of the vac when I was done,  and some of them where dead before they were vacuumed up.    

As far as plans,  they are still in progress and not ready yet.  Too many irons in the fire at the present time,  but they will be available in the near future.</description>
